“Person Centered” is a phrase used to describe approaches to care, planning, and education that focus on the unique needs and perspectives of each individual. However, many organizations and individuals misuse this phrase. What does person-centered actually mean? I spoke with Jack Pearpoint and Lynda Kahn, who are both renowned for their work in inclusion and planning.
