We are thrilled to be able to share video from The Lives We Lead Gala Ball that was held on International Day of Persons with Disabilities (2019)!
The Gala Ball was an opportunity to bring people together to meet, hear from and celebrate the achievements of the storytellers featured in the Lives We Lead project. The Ball celebrated disability as part of human diversity and, on this amazing night, the right of all people to be included was of utmost importance.
WAiS is proud to have organised the event (in collaboration with People with Disabilities WA, Women with Disabilities WA and Youth Disability Advocacy Network), which reflected our values of diversity, inclusion and human rights.
