Marsha Forest was a relentless lifelong advocate for Inclusion. Marsha spent her life teaching and supporting families and educators to create inclusion for all. She met Judith Snow and Jack Pearpoint (whom she married). The result was the Circle of Friends, and then the MAPS process and later PATH – conversational approaches to reveal and nurture the gifts and capacities in every person – no exceptions. Marsha was the founding mother of the Summer Institutes at McGill and later in Toronto. The impact was global. Marsha passed in 2000 after a 12-year battle with cancer.
