This monograph is one of a series of publications by Communitas  in 1991.  As a team of colleagues collaborated to create circles of support around individuals with disabilities, they were diligent observers about what worked – where there were tensions – and how to strengthen this work.   One element was ‘dreaming’ – with tension about whether people with disabilities could – or should dream – and the struggle to learn to listen to and honor the power of dreams as they emerged.
