So often in our field, people experiencing disability feel invisible to the humans and world around them. Without an awareness of this felt sense in others, we service providers can perpetuate this isolation. In this film, we dive into the practices of deep listening, offering spaces and opportunities for the partners of Life Works to truly be Seen, Valued and Heard. We drop below the surface of Downloading, trapped in the noise and chatter of our own minds, into our hearts. Connecting empathically with one another, building bridges from heart to heart, with compassion. From this compassion emerges a generative quality of listening which leads to intentional action. Illuminating pathways for people to reach their highest future potential. Regardless of role or label.
